As a direct access immigration barrister I had an extremely positive result recently. I had a client who was a genuine Christian convert, I say genuine as there was no doubt given the wealth of evidence and the Secretary of State’s continued rejection of his case amazed me.
We had sought JR and the UT also followed the Secretary of State’s position.
However I was convinced it was just a matter of getting the evidence in the correct order to get a further claim.
Further evidence was finally produced which showed his baptism and there were statements from a wide variety of people. The additional submissions were submitted and I was gearing up for a further JR when on Wednesday what arrived through the DX was not a refusal letter but his BRP.
I would say if you have a case and you want to fight then I and my dedicated team will fight with you. We are not in the business of giving up, nor are we in the process of telling people with hopeless cases that they are bound to win which will be the subject of a future blog.
If you or a family member have had rejections and want to fight on, please feel free to contact me as soon as possible, I say as soon as possible as the HO has now made it harder to fight your case from within the UK with the new deport now appeal later provisions, which again will be the subject of a further blog.
