As the founder of Imperium Chambers it has been a tremendous year, one that has seen growth and seen me, not acting in my role as a direct access immigration barrister, but in my normal role instructed by BHD, appear for the first time in the Supreme Court in the case of Johnson. This was a case that despite having facts that were not attractive found that discrimination based on legitimacy was not going to be tolerated and has been reported as Johnson UKSC 56.
As the year started to draw to a close that it was time for a bigger and better set up and to this end we have moved into 32 Bedford Row, WC1R 5ET which is simply round the corner that our old building.
The new building has just been refurbished and offers dedicated conference facilities as well as a rest area and kitchen.
The move is part of the continuing journey we as a chambers are taking and I hope to be able to explain further growth in the near future.
We consider that the new premises will allow us to provide a better and more relaxed service to our valued clients and look forward to welcoming both old and new clients in 2017. If you or a family member have an immigration problem or merely an enquiry please feel free to get in touch with us on the same numbers.
